Reports - Autopay Declines
bug-fix completed

Currently there is no way for a user to determine when autopay transactions are declined. The only way I have been able to determine this is by reviewing the email outbox and seeing which tenant received an email informing them their transaction failed. We need a report to inform users that there have been auto payments declined.

Tony Gardner Sarah McDougall This is included. I've linked the DevOps feature. Work Item ID=12938. It covers both the removal of the payment method from autopay upon failure and the creation of a report that shows failed payment methods. LMK if you have any questions.

Andre Hadzi-Pavlovic Hey Andre. This topic came up today on a demo and the prospect has a question about the removal of the payment from autopay. Will this be fixed to a certain amount of failed attempts or will it be a variable where the site can choose up to say 5 days before it turns autopay off?

Shaina Cossairt: For this initial version, it will be fixed to removing autopay after the first declined attempt. This was deemed the safer approach initially as we want to avoid the card processor issue with retrying declined cards. However, it is important to note that we simply remove the card from autopay, we DO NOT remove the saved payment method. A user can easily run the report and re-enable autopay for those payment methods that they want to try again. However, I would be cautious with this as Elavon still might not like the facility re-running bad cards.

Thank you Sarah McDougall. At this time we are not putting any feature requests through, however this was already a report that I believe is slated to be released by the end of this month. I am failing to find it in DevOps though, so I am pinging Andre Hadzi-Pavlovic to see if he could share the release schedule and you can get back to Menards as to when they will see it in QMS.

Tony Gardner Menards asked about this today. They need this report for their declined autopay procedure where their office admins pull the report and remove declining autopays within 3-4 days.
