I think a very important feature to include in QMS is a CRM system that allows a facility the ability to create one email or SMS message and send it as a mass message to all or a group of selected tenants.

Menards Self Storage is requesting this feature. They are looking to setup an event that sends out a bulk of emails to tenants. For their request, I'm looking into an alternative option by using Triggers.

For their request, I was able to find an alternative.

Setup Trigger Template: QMS->Corporate->(left sidebar) Templates -> Add New -> Trigger Template

Name: User's Choice
Status: Active
Type: Email
Select Triggers for this Template: PTD
Subject: User's Choice
Body: User's Choice
Attach Document Template(s) to Email: N/A
Save Trigger Template

Setup Trigger: QMS->Corporate->(left sidebar) Triggers -> Add New

Trigger Type: PTD
Trigger Name: User's Choice
Description: N/A
Trigger Status: Active
Suppose today is 04/23/2025, and I'd like to send a mass email to those with a PTD of 04/30/2025 for tomorrow (04/24/2025).
Trigger Rule:

Days: 6 | Before PTD
nclude Lease on Autopay & Include Delinquent Leases: User's Choice
Send Email -> Select Email Template

Save Trigger
You are done.

NOTE:

Recipient selection is limited to PTD.
No immediate send option.
Trigger must be deactivated after use.

Tony Gardner I can't upvote this again since I already did once, but we have another client asking for this now: Stuff Safe boarded yesterday and noticed this is missing.

Tony Gardner I am upvoting this feature request. 
Currently Storage 4 U is asking "Do you have a standard way (template) that we can inform all tenants on the portal being up and how to create a password for the email address they have on file with us?"
I don't see any issue with Customer Success providing the wording for a standard template of this nature - it would be a good resource to have - however in investigating how this could be sent out by the system I see no way to do so.
This could of course be added to the welcome email that sends after move-in completion, but for this specific case Storage 4 U is an already occupied facility that has boarded to QMS, so they are talking about notifying existing tenants.

Shaina Cossairt I added this into DevOps, but I will say from previous conversations with Andre that we may not be able to have a Cloud-like CRM system in QMS. This is because of the email system that we have added into QMS being for transactional emails versus "marketing" emails. DevOps #11284
